I would definitely recommend frigates plus subzero guns over a strategy that relies on direct damage battleship weapons, since I dont think you'll be able to defeat their squadrons without the help of subzero guns or some other defensive measure. I was lucky and got something like 4-5 frigate units during my run. I didn't have one, but a hull repair officer can help with any defensive strategy such as Church or (another ship that has high hull defense). Even if you don't completely destroy one of their hull bars in a single go, it's about wearing them down.Īkee battleships are very fragile so it won't take as much damage as you are used to in order to defeat them.

Since most fighting takes place near your mothership, if you fight well you will eventually have a moment where you can recall one unit, redeploy it as a drone or fighter and send it against the enemy mothership. Better to get them to stealth-attack your mothership while you block about 2 tiles. Your frigate will get stealth-attacked and take devastating damage. The enemy is not stupid and they will go right for the cruiser at the first opportunityĭo not send a frigate to attack the enemy mothership, this gives away most of your advantages. Putting an artillery cruiser in the corner and blocking it with 2 frigates is a high-risk strategy that you should only do if you are sure you will be able to freeze enemy squadrons as soon as they decloak. Upgraded sub zero gun (freeze more than one squadron at a time!)Ī nano drone can help 'hold' one squadron while you focus fire on another with multiple frigates - your units take less damage this way. Sub zero gun (freeze them as soon as they decloak) They are near the mothership, so you have a better chance to avoid getting them wrecked, repair them between waves. The church ship and a frigate-heavy strategy, keeping them near the mothership. So, bait them into attacking the battleship systems then destroy them.

A thing to note is that the stealth fighters do increased damage to your squadrons, but they (I think) only do heat damage to battleship systems. If you encounter any problem, please contact us at with as much information as possible on the issue.I ended up beating it using an improved version of my existing strategy.
